I lived in L.A. at the time of the riots. The police aren't perfect and need to be accountable, yes. But, to lay the blame on them is hypocrisy when actual criminals, like Rodney King, are involved. He had a violent criminal history before the riots AND it continued LONG after the riots. Look it up. It's public record. This video is one-sided propaganda. Whatever happens, it's NEVER justified to riot violently and destroy and loot innocent people's property and businesses. It's not justified to beat innocent people to a pulp just because they're the same color as the police officers. The racial divide in America is NOT laid at the doorstep of ONE race, but all who participate in it. But, the actual racists blame EVERY PERSON of the race they hate. The racist is the one who makes everything about THEIR race. Whether it's the KKK or BLM or ANY gang of ANY race, they're ALL racist GANGS.

Excellent documentary, it's just a shame the police haven't learnt from there mistake, 25 years later.

Actually watched this. It wasn't two hours long btw.. but it was about as one sided a documentary as it gets. I guess with a director that goes by the name **One9** known for a rap documentary what did I expect. After leading off with an good relevant Ann Ryan quote it quickly went downhill.

very bad day in history. the first video used to show what really happened. and it did make the cops more aware and they did not like them at all still don't. the US was outraged by what happened to rodney king. it was also outraged by the verdict. it was shocked by the riots and the aftermath. that was 25 years ago and not a whole lot has changed. try taking pictures of a cop he will try and get you to stop. already 25 years shite to me it does not seem that long ago. that is sad in many ways. thats all.
