That letter was cold as hell, damn this show is just simply getting hotter than a Florida summer night.

That letter at the end is totally taken from the serial killer Albert Fish What a great show.

This episode shows a really gory, bloody and dark side of humanity and I enjoyed every second of it's entertainment. The depiction of the 1800's New York makes one appreciate life in the now. From the simple ocean waves clip that easily amused the audience, to having to use a tool to get your boots on, to that child pumping power into whatever that dentist was using to do work on his patient's teeth - great episode as the plot just thickened! Thank you @uploaders ;)

not sure if it's just me, but cannibalism, murder, young boy prostitution, and more aren't really my thing.Wondering whether society is ready for this series....?

I'm a huge fan of anything about serial killers ( movies, series, books, documentaries), but I'm having problem getting fully invested into this story, the subject of boy prostitution is not appealing at all. I wish they went with something other than that. Still, the scenery is amazing, the characters are interesting and seeing the development of forensic science and criminal profiling is reason enough to keep watching.

This sort of reminds me why everyone thinks psychiatrists are stupid and generally ruining the world. And besides adding the liberal nonsense about immigrants the letter is much like the "Saucy jack" letter from jack the ripper.

If you ignore the obvious cultural marxism and third wave feminism remarks made in just about every episode, this is a fairly decent Mystery series I suppose. Para-phrasing..."Society forms us and makes us who we are" or "The unreasonable expectations society places on Women to SMILE, marry and have children." PURE HORSE MANURE.

Failed writing, poor acting, skip this series. It has almost all of the elements of an intriguing period piece and even some known actors but it somehow manages to make interesting situations boring. It's kind of detached and forced and voyeuristic - way too superficial in its treatment of this story. 0/5
